I will get to writing more about the towns and places as time goes on but for now here are the basics.
San Sebastien also know as Donosti, is the capital of Guipuzcoa. This very cosmopolitan city and, is set on the
banks of the Urumea river and the Bay of Biscay. Located only 30 minutes from the French border. During the summer it is full
of tourists, as it has 3 very beautiful beaches (2 in the bay and one surf beach). The old part of San Sebastian is at the
foot of Mont Urgull. It is full of bars, shops and returants. I have been told that this area has the best "tapas" in all
of the Basque country.
Walking around San Sebastian is easy as the streets are well set out, however, it is moped city and they donīt seem to
stop for predestrians.
I like the feel of San Sebastian as it is small enough to feel safe, big enough to get lost in and touristy enough to
be able to speak in english.
